Garcia GY 65, the 65 foot sailing yacht, built from lightweight, high-performance Sealium alloy by the Garcia shipyard, has been designed for owners who are offshore cruising enthusiasts.
This very elegant yacht is equipped with an adjustable centreboard to allow access to moorings in shallow waters.
With performance in mind, the sail plan is large, but easy to handle thanks to a Solent jib. In light winds and for unbridled speed, the jib is assisted by a light Genoa or a Code Zero.
The deck is very bare out of concern for elegance, but also efficiency. A discrete and sleek deckhouse is perfectly integrated into the overall line of the boat. The rigging is concentrated near the wheelhouse leaving the cockpit completely free for leisure. The transom discretely includes a tender housing.
The interior design, like the external line, is very pure and elegant. Here the tones are pale and the lines are straight and highly contemporary. The whitened oak fittings are very sophisticated.
The owners’ cabin is situated forwards of the mast offering great comfort, as well as exceptional space. Equipped with a 1.60m bed, there is also a sofa bed and dressing table. Towards the bow, the vast bathroom occupies the whole width of the hull with a central shower.
The saloon offers a modern and convivial atmosphere. The chart table, galley and dining area are on the same level. The saloon is spacious and very light with an outside view whether seated or standing. The starboard galley space is very ergonomic combining well integrated storage space and fittings.
To the stern, guests have at their disposal two cabins with double beds each with a private bathroom.
