The renowned Viktor&Rolf brand created a new design for the bottle of the classic rose champagne Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage.
Piper-Heidsieck, winemakers with a 200-century-old history, invited Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren to create a new "outfit" for the bottle in order to give some edge to the image of their classic champagne.
Masters of fusion and brilliant iconoclasts Viktor&Rolf had their own interpretation of Piper-Heidsieck canonical bottle forms: they turned the champagne bottle upside down, as well as the flute and the ice bucket.
The designers have also changed the proportions, creating a big cork and narrow bottom. Cooperation with Viktor&Rolf continues the tradition created by Piper-Heidsieck: Jean-Paul Gaultier once dressed the bottle of Piper Heidsieck Cuvee in a red corset with black lacing.
The edition was named Piper-Heidsiech Special Cuvee Jean Paul Gaultier.
