The fruits of cooperation

Bombardier Aerospace has announced that they have chosen Grob Aerospace to design their new Learjet 85, the continuation of the Learjet family with an all-composite hull. Apart from that, they announced the name of their new aircraft: Learjet 85.

The new Learjet 85 will be the first business jet in the world with such hull. It will get a FAR 25 certificate. Designed from scratch, Learjet 85 will feature high cruising speed equal to Mach 0.82 and transcontinental range of up to 5556 km.

Flying the plane that’s going to have the most spacious and comfortable cabin of all existing midsize aircraft, the 8 passengers will be provided will a perfect recreation and work environment and at the same time will have the opportunity to move freely within the cabin.
