The Dragon, a new masterpiece from the Haute Porcelain collection by Lladro, is a tribute to the symbol of courage and fearlessness in Oriental mythology.

A colourful figure is made using a combination of glossy and matte porcelain, in carmine red and gold.

Each scale is thoroughly painted. The Dragon looks as though it’s enveloped in flames. Lladro have made dragons before: in the spring od 2007 the company’s master porcelain makers launched the Chinese Dragon series to mark the sponsorship of China Team by Lladro.

The team participated in the US Cup sailing regatta. There’s only one handmade figurine of a Dragon. In the future it’s going to be made into a limited edition series
