Edition for Koenigsegg

Limited-edition series: Koenigsegg CCX and CCXR

Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg revealed information about the launch of two limited-edition series: Koenigsegg CCX and CCXR. Compare to regular models, they feature some alterations that make these special series cars even sportier. Particularly, Koenigsegg Edition will be equipped with stiffer springs, additional rigidity crossbars, decreased clearance and an aerodynamic package that increases stylus force. They will also have unique forged wheel design. The interior for the Edition series has also been altered: the design of the dashboard has been changed (it now features a chronograph), and a number за exquisite details added (i.e. trademark side step plates).

The Edition series will include 20 supercars, a CCX model limited to 14 cars with 888 bhp and a CCXR (Bio flexi fuel) model limited to 6 cars with 1018 bhp. The price of these toys will be 1 330 000 Euro for CCX, and 1 500 000 Euro for CCXR. Those who wish to own the rarities should hurry, though: the two first of each version are already spoken for. Unveiling of the Edition versions will be at the Geneva Motor show in March 2008.
