Raytheon Aircraft, a US company, has announced two new derivatives of Hawker 800: Hawker 900XP и 750XP. The main difference of Hawker 900XP from its predecessor will be its range, increased by 460 km, as well as Honeywell 731-50R engines.
The modification is created mainly for the US market, that’s why the range is well-suited for flying between the West and East coast. The new plane will feature wingtips. Catalogue price for Hawker 900XP is set at $13.95 million. NetJets already became the first owner, placing an order for 18 planes, all meant for the US market. Meanwhile, another Hawker 800 modification, 750XP, is aimed at the European market. Sold at a price of $11.95 million, it has the same midsize cabin as Hawker 800 and a maximum range of 3,900 km. Hawker 750XP runs on Honeywell 731-5BR engines, as well as its prototype, although the inner fuel tank has been removed from the hull, thus giving space for a baggage compartment.
Besides, unlike Hawker 800 and 900XP, this plane doesn’t have wingtips. NetJets (to be more precise, its European branch, NetJets Europe) once again placed the first order for 30 jets at overall cost of $350 million. Both modification will pass the FAA certification in summer 2007. The first delivery is scheduled at the end of 2007 or beginning of 2008.
