Rodman was one of the first launch builders who installed the Volvo Penta’s IPS system at their speed-boats.
In early January of 2005 the company launched a 41-foot flying bridge yacht with an IPS. The experiment was very successful. The sales had grown significantly and Rodman issued 5 more models with an IPS. Over 150 Rodman boats equipped with the system have been supplied by now.
In the recent years Rodman has enjoyed great success in the market. After issuing their new Rodman 41 IPS the company turnover has significantly grown. Rodman, Spain’s largest shipbuilding corporation, has the biggest shipbuilding facilities in Vigo, with production facilities covering around 105,000 m. With the opening of a new facility in Valença do Minho in Northern Portugal the manufacturing volumes increased up to 400 units a year.
“The Rodman 41 IPS has been one of the most important successes of Rodman Polyships. In less than 3 years we have beat one of our records, having produced the 100th unit, which makes it the most successful model of our entire yacht range”, says Andrés Cárdenas, CEO of Rodman
