
French company Lisa Airplanes is planning to begin the production of two new aircraft. The two-seater ultra-light and six-seater turboprop planes are designed in line with Lisa Airplanes' original concept.
The two-seater is called Akoya. According to The manufacturer, Akoya can lift off and land on ground, water and even snow-covered surfaces.
The aircraft will be manufactured jointly with Savoy Technolac company. Akoya is equipped with 100 hp Rotax 912S engine. The plane's range is 1,500 km, top cruising speed is 300 km/h, maximum takeoff weight is 495 kg.
The certification and delivery of the first machines are scheduled for the 4th quarter of the current year. The company hopes to begin construction of the turboprop aircraft in three years' time.
