On the occasion of the Festival International de la Plaisance in Cannes from September 10th to September 15th 2008, Morgan Yachts will be present the Lobster Boat Morgan 44 and the Fast Commuter Morgan 70.

The Morgan yachts will be moored by the Quai Saint Pierre – QSP 106, in front of which there will be an area on the quay dedicated to all the guests.

The real hospitality, however, will be held on board of the two yachts themselves, where it will be created a place completely dedicated to the Morgan’s guests that will want to pause and stay aboard the yachts in order to appreciate the Morgan’s timeless atmosphere far away from the crowd.

The Morgan range, which at present is the most extensive in its segment, will be well represented by the two yachts which constitute the peak models of the two categories in which the range is divided, Lobster Boat e Fast Commuter.

The Morgan 44, the first Morgan Lobster Boat, is a yacht which combines the design of the lobster boats which dominated the waters of New England during the 1950’s with the most modern technology in order to create a 44 footer of great effect.

It is a boat whose valuable details, precious lively-colored fabrics and skilled use of solid wood create an unforgettable atmosphere on board.

The exceptional style and attention to detail distinguishes this yacht, where passion for the sea is embodied in the irresistible appeal of a timeless boat.

The Morgan 70 Fast Commuter recaptures the classical motor yachts which were used at the end of the Nineteenth Century by New York tycoons to commute between Manhattan and Long Island.

The Morgan Fast Commuters are cult objects where technology and style are joined and meet in the form of extraordinary detail.

The visual impact is dominated by the harmonious combination between a modern and high performance fiberglass hull and a classic superstructure covered in solid wood.

Both the models presented in Cannes, designed by the Besozzi-Selvetti Studio, interpret the unmistakable Morgan style of uncommon luxury and follow the concept inspired by the key word of all the Morgan models: "flair" which indicates both the glamorous esthetic aspect and the design of the bow keel flare which endows the Morgan yachts with excellent seafaring potential and an unmistakable shape.
