The cooperation of the automobile concern Ferrari and the watch manufactory Panerai is in progress, and the new watch models under these brands are a definite proof of it.
These are the watches from Scuderia collection with the mechanism Panerai P.2003 presented at Auto Salon in Geneva in 2007.
There are two special series including the model Crono 1/8th second – a chronograph ticking away 8th fractions of a second using a very fast rotating arrow. And finally comes "Period" – an outsider inspired by the world of sport cars. All these new models have a common feature: considerable sizes about 45 mm in diameter.
Design of the clock faces repeated in the all models corresponds to a classical Ferrari look. The clock faces resemble a speedometer used on the control panel of the former sport cars.
