Another masterpiece by INRIZZARDI

The INRIZZARDI group launched a new yacht - Posillipo Technema 118.

Working on that project, the Milanese architect Ivana Porfiri was inspired by romantic fishing boats of the middle of the last century, so the yacht's exterior is done in the classic style.

According to INRIZZARDI president Gianfranco Rizzardi, every yacht launched at any of the group's shipyard is unique but the Technema 118 has another reason to be considered the only one in the world. The hull of this almost 40-metre yacht was painted by Jeff Koons, one of the most famous and expensive modern artists.

Posillipo Technema 118 became yet another masterpiece of the artist. A proof of that is the fact that Vogue magazine has bought exclusive rights to publish all images of the yacht for the next two years. During the launching the vessel was covered to protect the artwork from paparazzi. The covers will be removed only when the yacht arrives to its current destination, Piraeus.

There are plans to open the first floating art gallery in the world onboard the yacht. True to its name, the yacht itself will be the biggest masterpiece in the collection: Technema means "work of art" in Greek.
