Gideon Oberson's summer collection of swimsuits features sand dunes and blue sky, silver and gold with fashionable architectural motifs implemented in patterns, airy elements and precise geometrical forms repeated on the collection's fabrics over and over again.
The most commonly used material is DuPont Lycra. The drawings encompass all sorts of motifs: Bokhara ethnic ornaments, elements of Disco style and black-and-white classics.
Complex technologies were used for treating the fabrics and making the swimsuits: the glittering lycra imitates compressed silk, the trimming - white elastic band woven through special loops - was handmade, just like the string arabesques.
The collection liberally uses paste and colourful plastic rings to decorate the swimsuit's décolleté, and a special iridescent fabric called Sensitive.
