High technology is everywhere now: on the ground, on the water, in the sky… Now it’s going to surround us in our sleep.

Leggett & Platt introduced the high-tech Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed. It has an iPod dock, surround sound acoustic system and LCD projector, can be connected to the Internet through Wi-fi and for special purposes – nobody knows which – record digital video.

However, these are not all the options of this pimped-up bed. The Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed has a snore indicator. When the system hears the sound it bends the bed a little; when a person stops snooring, the bed returns into the initial position.

The first hi-tech beds will appear in the market in early 2009. The Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed will cost from $20,000 to $50,000, depending on the options.
