The majestic Tourbillon

The Swiss Blu SA company has created the unique Blu Majesty Tourbillon MT3 watch with a revolutionary 3-tourbillon mechanism.

"Our work is creating new traditions," says the brand founder Bernard Lederer. Instead of the usual hands the Blu watch uses revolving discs and has no dial. It’s a very complicated system of 3 interconnected tourbillons that move at various speeds.

In the foreground is a semi-horizontal minute tourbillon. It is fastened to the socket of the hour tourbillon that is horizontal and flat. It moves around the dial with the help of the bigger 12-hour tourbillon.

This complicated mechanism is united by a common force – 2 similar cylinders hidden under the main body.

The golden casing of the watch has 12 visible hour indicator columns that remind of a Greek pantheon colonnade.
