Robinson Helicopter has built 823 helicopters in 2007. It’s more than any helicopter constructor has ever build in one year. The previous record of this kind also belongs to Robinson: in 2005 the company produced 806 helicopters.

At the same time Robinson Helicopter has broken their own record of a single model production: 664 of R44s in 2007 (the previous record was set in 2005 as well and equalled 563). Along with R44 another model by Robinson stays ahead – R22 which last year retained its market niche (159 helicopters were produced).

The demand for Robinson helicopters is expected to remain the same in 2008. To meet the customers’ requirements the company centers their production facilities to increase the production speed that has already reached the mark of average 18 helicopters a week.
