Founders of Google Internet search engine Larry Page and Sergey Brin made all other US millionaires extremely jealous: they were allowed to park their Boeing 767-200 and two other aircraft at the closed NASA space launch facility, of all places.
According to the New York Times, Page and Brin made a special deal with the management of Moffett Field space launch facility which is closed to all private aircraft: for $1.3 million a year they'll be allowed to land their Boeing there.
Thus Google founders have managed to find a perfect place to keep their airplane: just a 10-minute drive from home.
But how did the two businessmen manage to get that kind of bargain? According to the NASA, a month ago the agency signed a unique contract with the founders of the search engine, allowing the scientists to keep their research equipment onboard Brin's and Page's aircraft. But of course the decisive factor was the money.
