
Lufthansa keeps extending the range of key business and tourist destinations in India covered by its flights. As of July 1st, 2008 the biggest German airline starts a new service from Frankfurt to Pune in Western India.
Passengers will be able to fly to Pune six days a week in full comfort onboard Airbus A319 airliner redecorated as a business jet.
The A319 is serviced by PrivatAir, a company specializing in business and VIP aviation services. The aircraft has 48 advanced, fully convertible seats which can be transformed into practically horizontal 2-metre long beds. Extra leg room, larger folding tables, electrical plugs for notebook computers and reading lamps inbuilt in the seats provide perfect work environment.
Thanks to the spacious cabin, passengers enjoy a quiet, relaxing atmosphere while the staff provides individual service throughout the flight.
