Albert II, BMW and hydrogen

During the opening ceremony of the EVER MONACO show the Prince of Monaco Albert II was presented with keys to a BMW Hydrogen 7.

The thing is, the show was about environmentally friendly cars and renewable energy sources. Thus the Prince of Monaco became owner of a car which, thanks to its hydrogen engine, emits practically no harmful substances (just 5 grams of carbon dioxide in test cycle).

"I'm looking forward to discovering the advantages of BMW Hydrogen 7 in the coming weeks. I'm very keen on new technologies which allow to limit the negative impact of human activities on the environment, especially in the automobile industry," says Prince Albert II.

The first hydrogen-driven sedan has completed the full cycle of R&D work and went in production (100 cars), announced the BMW press-service.
