Meeting the summer with light steps

The spring-summer collection by the Italian Sergio Rossi brand emphasizes the versatility of sandals. Bright red, turquoise and lagoon-coloured pumps are made of patent leather and shiny eel skin. Elegant sandals are inlaid with gemstones (onyx and tiger’s-eye).

Platform shoes by Sergio Rossi are decorated by silver spangles and turquoise insets; there’s also a version in gold with a scattering of corals. Sandals from silver leather are decorated with glass crystal threads. Using a special technique the spiderweb ornament of golden spheres was created on the golden soles of burnt-earth sandals: it reminds of a constellation.

The most fashionable sandals of the season look like a colourful elastic band running from toes to the ankle. They feature a 10-cm heel and a full-length golden zipper.
