The 15th international yachting exhibition closed on the 17th of March. A full range of yachting goods and services was showcased at the traditional location, the Dubai International Marine Club: boats and yachts, marine equipment, interior, engines, emergency gear, water sports wear, navigation, service and electrical equipment, light equipment and fishing gear.
The Dubai International Boat Show in some ways has exceeded the previous fairs: this year 722 companies took part (53% more than last year); the participants came from 44 world countries (16% more compare to last year). The number of vessels showcased has grown to 330: 188 berths were equipped to moor them at the shore and 142 on the water.
The most exquisite and expensive goods were presented by Azimut, Sunseeker, Pacer, Donzi, Jeanneau and Nordic Star.
ART Marine introduced 24 yachts from 35 to 100 feet. Among the yachts showcased were several premieres introduced in the Middle East for the 1st time ever.
The 100-foot Benetti Tradition is an elegant Italian motor yacht that was showcased exclusively for demonstration. Last autumn’s new yacht Azimut 95 introduced in Genoa after her successful debut in Europe was available to the onlookers and buyers in Dubai. Another yacht in the Azimut series was the 47-foot one, one of the latest style solutions in the series of flying bridge yachts.
Also, sports Atlantis 425SC and Atlantis 47 HT were introduced at the show, as well as Zen 70, the Italian yacht that makes the speed of over 48 knots.
All models showcased by ART Marine were either sold or ordered to be manufactured later. The biggest success of ART Marine was the sale of ultramodern flagship Azimut 103S bought on the 1st very day of the show.
The success of the Dubai Boat Show is proved by the fact that the record number of contracts has been signed at the show, overall for $148 million.
