The second stage of the race Grand Prix Montenegro confirmed the leading position of the Emirates team Victory 1. After 23 laps Al Marri and Bin Hendi have displayed the best time and now hold the top place in the rating table having 20 points. Their total number of points earned during all previous stages is 44.
The second place went to their colleagues from Victory 7 Abdullah Al Mehairbi and Jean-Marc Sanchez. Actually, after the retirement of Bjorn Gjeltsen and dismantling of the most prominent team the Spirit of Norway (Gjeltsen/Curtis duet had 32 grand prix to their credit), the Middle Eastern teams got a firm hold of prize places.
The third place was taken by Qatar 95 team (Al-Sulaiti and Nicolini). In the overall rating Qatar 95 is also the third, with 25 points.
Every night the sport component of the event was supplemented with a rich social and entrainment programme. On May 23 the guests were treated to a luxurious reception in Budva's Old Fortress. For one night the cosy restaurant with a staggering sea view has turned into a nightclub. The music bands Ocean Elsy and Serebro gave the performance for the guests. The show was hosted by Mikhail Shatz and Sergei Polonski. A culmination of the party was the grandiose laser show lighting up the Adriatic waters.
On May 24 the guests spent the day at the beach of the Tropicana club (a part of Astra Montenegro complex), admiring a wonderful view of the bay where the qualifying races took place. In the evening the club hosted a grand party with participation of fashionable Moscow DJs.
The next stage of the race will take place in Moscow, in Khimki impoundment, in July 4 - 6.
